1. Who we are

bizlicence is a trading name of ILES FCA LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 10575721, and part of FCA Group. We are the “data controller” for the personal data described in this notice. Our ICO registration number is ZB536516.

bizlicence is a business services provider. We are not a law firm and we are not a regulated immigration adviser. Advice to individuals about their own immigration matters is provided by our partner, Metropol Visa, which is registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA).

2. What we collect

When you use our eligibility check or otherwise contact us about a business enquiry, we collect:

• your business name;
• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number;
• your preferred language (English or Turkish);
• your answers to the eligibility questions; and
• your consent choices (which of the checkboxes below you ticked).

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, special-category data (such as health, ethnicity or religion) as part of a business enquiry.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your business enquiry — our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, where we go on to work together, performance of a contract with you.
• To send you marketing email (for example, updates when the sponsorship rules change) — our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the separate marketing checkbox and can withdraw at any time.
• To contact you on WhatsApp — our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the separate WhatsApp checkbox and withdrawable at any time.

The consent checkboxes are separate and unticked by default. Agreeing to be contacted about your enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.

4. Who we share it with

Metropol Visa (IAA-registered).If your enquiry concerns an individual’s own immigration matter rather than a business licence, we are not permitted to advise on it. We hand that enquiry to Metropol Visa, our IAA-registered partner, so a regulated adviser can help you.

Our processors. We use trusted service providers to run our systems on our behalf [processors: e.g. HubSpot (CRM), Brevo (email), an automation provider such as n8n]. They may only use your data on our instructions and under a written contract.

We do not sellyour personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

5. Marketing and electronic messages (PECR)

We ask for separate opt-in consent for marketing email and for WhatsApp messaging. We will only send you marketing on a channel you specifically agreed to. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing us at the address in section 10 or by replying STOP to a WhatsApp message. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

6. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies that make the site work are always on. Non-essential analytics and advertising tags — Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel — only load after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, or before you choose, none of those tags fire. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the choice stored in your browser and reloading the page.

7. How long we keep it

• Enquiry data (where you did not go on to become a client): retained for 12 months from your last contact, then deleted.
• Client data (where we carried out work for you): retained for 6 years after the end of our engagement, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
• have your data erased in certain circumstances;
• object to, or restrict, how we use your data;
• receive your data in a portable format (data portability); and
• withdraw any consent you have given.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
